About Us

“My life is shaped by the urgent need to wander and observe, and my camera is my passport.”
— Steve McCurry

“To consult the rules of composition before making a picture is a little like consulting the law of gravitation before going for a walk”
Edward Weston

Captured Abandon is a team effort between two creative individuals (Matt and Wynter) who come together to form a team. The combined technical and creative abilities of two individuals help to create the images you see here. In most photos you’ll see here both of us have been involved in one way or another. In some cases, one of us is out creating the images while another provides crucial feedback in the post processing of the images. In other cases we work directly as a team to both create and process the images.  Either way, one does not exist without the other and we strive to give you something unique that will last a lifetime.

Style

Although we both bring creative and technical sides to the equation we each have our own vision that we meld together. In some cases, it’s one with the ‘bigger picture’ vision while the other is picking out the minutia while in other cases we both pick out the pieces equally that bring an image together.

Goal

Regardless of the scenario or the situation, the team that we create, the creativity, the attention to detail are crucial to making the unique images that we delivery to you.

Practices

Although our style is eclectic, our area of practice includes model, fashion, portraiture, landscape, and decay  however our focus remains close to the model, fashion, and portraiture practices.
